It was produced in the cedar forests of Lebanon. It is called dew honey. Its production is based on a symbiotic relationship between three types of insects that live in the cedar forest, namely, aphids, ants, and bees. Since there is no flower on the rice, there is no source of nectar for the bees to feed on, but aphids use the sap of the tree, digest it so that the sugar content in it exceeds the middle, then produce sweetened water known as "manna". This sweetened water supplies the ants with sugar. The ants protect the aphids from other predators. The bees also consume the aphids released by the aphids and turn them into honey. Taste: Rice honey is rich, sweet, and melts slowly in the mouth. Texture: Cedar honey has a thick and smooth texture. Aroma: Cedar honey smells like raw wood. Sweetness: Rice honey is characterized by a slight degree of sweetness
